New frisbee golf courses in Finland in 2024
Spring is approaching and Topdisc has gathered together the most interesting new frisbee golf courses in Finland. The list includes tracks completed last year that will continue to be finished in 2024, as well as completely new tracks that are eagerly awaited for the upcoming season.
During 2023, more than 50 new tracks were added to Finland, bringing the total number of tracks to over 900. With the completion of the planned tracks this year, the number of tracks will already exceed the thousand track mark. Finland ranks second in the world in the number of railways per inhabitant, right after Iceland (381,00 people and 81 railways). Good Finland!
1. Savitsi DiscGolfPark
PAR 53 / 18 fairways / average length 88.6m (completed in summer 2023, to be completed in summer 2024) UDISC SCORE 4.3
A new technical track, which is placed in a wonderful forest landscape. The course rewards accurate throwing and is suitable for players of all levels. It's worth getting to know!
2. Kantola Urban DiscGolfPark
PAR 59 / 18 fairways / average length 140m (completed in summer 2023 ) UDISC SCORE 3.9
An extremely fine frisbee golf course completed in Hämeenlinna, designed especially for pro players. The course challenges even the more experienced player and can be unforgiving for beginners due to the many OB areas and water hazards. The course goes around Vanajavesi. Definitely worth a try if you are in the Kanta-Häme area.
3.Tervas DiscGolfPark
PAR 62 / 18 fairways / average length 114m (completed in summer 2023, finishing in 2024 ) UDISC SCORE 4.0
The newest member of the Taivalkoski frisbee golf family in Syvärinlammi. Built in the summer of 2023, an 18-lane course with smoother terrain, where technique and puck control play a bigger role than throw length. The track built around a beautiful pine forest is definitely worth a try. There are baskets and a throwing net near the track.
4. Fire grass DiscGolfPark
PAR XX / 18 fairways / medium length XXX (to be completed in summer 2024 ) UDISC SCORE XX
Paloheinä's frisbee golf course, which has raised the emotions of the locals, has been planned for years and it is finally estimated to be completed. The course built around Paloheinä hill is designed to offer a challenge for players of all levels. According to the latest information, the 18-hole course will be opened to eager shooters in July 2024.
5. Rock Valley – Vihti
PAR XX / 18 fairways / several layouts medium length XXX (to be completed in summer 2024 ) UDISC SCORE XX
Perhaps the most anticipated track in 2024 is the 18-lane track complex coming up in Vihti, titled as a "world-class track". The course built in the surroundings of the old golf course was designed in cooperation with the best in the field from the United States. We invest carefully in the course, because it sounds pretty crazy that you can rent golf carts for the course. Cart friendly indeed.
